This year’s Rutledge Day at the Rodeo, held on Sunday, January 28, was a stompin’ success! Many of our special guests enjoyed the beautiful morning to take in the rodeo grounds and midway. In early afternoon, all gathered for a lively performance of the Fort Worth Rodeo, followed by a cowpoke party at the Road House Tent.
All 335 guests were decked in their rodeo best, wearing bright yellow 2018 Rutledge Day at the Rodeo bandanas. Some of the grand entry riders were even spotted in our yellow bandana to show their support for the teen and young adult cancer patients in attendance. After a great rodeo, our hungry crowd headed next door to the Road House Tent for live music, entertainment, photo booth fun, hot dogs, hamburgers with all the fixins and of course the Moo Brothers. A few took advantage of backstage tours of the Stock Show Grounds, offered by volunteers of the Stock Show Syndicate. As our guests said their thank you’s and goodbyes, “Best rodeo day ever!” was heard time after time. Thank you Gary Ray and rodeo friends for another perfect Rutledge Day at the Rodeo!
