From the beginning, the Rutledge Foundation has not only worked to improve the treatment adolescents and young adults are receiving, but the care they are given as well. In addition to grants for research, we have made multiple grants for programs and age appropriate patient care.

The Rutledge Foundation awarded Moncrief Cancer Institute a check for $27,110 for support of their Fertility Preservation Program.  The funds will provide physician and patient education opportunities on fertility preservation and treatment options available, patient care coordination for fertility preservation treatment and financial assistance for fertility preservation treatment for underinsured and uninsured adolescent and young adult cancer patients.

Cook Children’s Medical Center

Fall 2014
The Rutledge Foundation’s awarded Cook Children’s Medical Center a check for $20,000.  The funds went to make improvements in their Teen Rooms and assist with the funding of an AYA Psychologist.

The Rutledge Foundation’s awarded Cook Children’s Medical Center a check for $30,000.  The funds went to establish two Teen Rooms and assist with a research project at Cincinnati Children’s hospital for Ewing sarcoma.
